sometimes the greatest act of resistance is staying alive

Exhibition at HUSK gallery, Limehouse.
A large scale installation that invites the viewer to pause and reflect. The words are painted across two walls that meet in a corner of the room; if the viewer doesn’t stand in the opposite corner the letters become warped and difficult to read. This manipulation of text invites the viewer to stand still in a specific, more private, location and reflect on what the words may mean to them.

The work involved collaboration with Kadlec Studio in order to determine the best way to place text.

July – August 2017.
