A performance for artist Sarah Adams:
‘In my current writing and making I have been exploring the process of remembering through physical embodiment of emotions and experiences – with relation to trauma, suffering and loss, and the notion of the dancer’s body as a physical archive. I have been looking at the body’s interaction with objects and the impact of restrictive spaces on movement content. Alongside this is an ongoing exploration of dance and movement within the gallery space and the objectification of the dancer’s body within this context.’
A two hour durational performance at the Triangle Space in Chelsea, featuring a looping series of physical movements on a plinth within the gallery space.
