I love ethical fashion but I have to admit, I’m a little bit rubbish with bags. When it comes to dance it’s a backpack life for me, meaning that when I’m back in the world of the normally clothed I often find myself lacking when it comes to these, the most basic of accessories. A good bag is one of the easiest ways to add a whole lot of class to any outfit with almost no effort, and in the past I’ve found myself saddened that I don’t own any one bag that is  beautiful, convenient and sustainable all in one (although this is mainly my fault as I haven’t actually bought a bag in maybe 5 years).

Luckily for me, Vilma Boutique came along at just the right time, offering to send me one of their vegan handbags to try out. They sent me the Colour Block Minimalist Vegan Tote; the combination of things I love in the title alone suggested I was going to be happy and boy, I certainly am.

Vilma Boutique create bags that are PETA-approved vegan, high quality and 100% sweatshop free; with all designs being hand cut and machine sewn in a small studio in Greece. Vilma Boutique is also very selective with their suppliers, working only with companies providing sustainable, eco-friendly and non-toxic materials.

Their bags are beautifully versatile, with block colours and sleek designs making them the perfect partner to any outfit. They look so classy, even my own mum tried to steal mine from me (she didn’t succeed). I love how I can easily use this bag in any circumstance, it’s big enough to carry everything I need, and it’s delicate without being too flimsy. It’s also clearly well made, which becomes so much more noticeable when you step away from fast fashion and start appreciating the stories and work that goes into the investment pieces you do buy. I love that this bag is going to last me a long time, and never go out of style.

Oh and fun addition, the inside is lined with polka dots! It’s nice to add a fun twist to your minimal look every now and again after all.

Huge thanks to Vilma Boutique, I couldn’t be happier with this bag. Make sure to check them out online or give them a follow here, and here’s hoping my mum doesn’t get her mitts on it any time soon.

Until next time, stay magic y’all.
